Quizzing Kick OFFF (plus cool video)

Quizzing is beginning soon. All you have to do is be interested and show up. Too simple you say. Well you will also be given a copy of Hebrew and 1 & 2 Peter to memorize so we can compete at the quizmeets. Too tough you say. Too bad. We wouldn't take the challenge if it wasn't worth it. So if you want to do something amazing this year, quiz!

Change in youth ministry for the summer (plus soda rocket video)

Hey, we are making a change for the summer. We are no longer holding regular meeting times on Thursday nights. Instead, we are running Small Group activities throughout July and August.
This means that we will be fishing, DQing, buringing stuff, doing some service projects, and spending the summer out and about. Leaders are planning things for us to do, so contact your leader and find out what's coming up. If you don't have a leader contact pastor Will and we will get you hooked up.

30 Hour Famine Results

We made it! 30 hours without out food. One amazing thing about the 30 Hour Famine is that it gets harder when the goal is in sight. Durning the last 20 minutes we found the challenge infinitely harder than during the day. We were glad to help those who experience this every day. Together our group raised a little over $400, which will go to the fight against hunger in the world.

The 30 Hour Famine is about students around the world loving God and fighting hunger. It’s that simple. Every year, thousands of students unite to do the 30 Hour Famine. They learn about hunger – and then they do something about it. They raise funds. They experience hunger for themselves. Best of all – they help save lives.
This year we will be doing the 30 Hour Famine on Friday, May 6th – Saturday, May 7th. That evening, we will focus our attention on world hunger and then go to Big Sandy Camp to eat the next day and join in a Big Sandy service project.
You will need to come hungry and ready to overnight and work!
