Children

            Our common goal is to bring God glory by sharing the relationship we have with Him with everyone coming in our doors. We are not in search of a polished Christianity to put on display on Sunday mornings – like a wedding to which children are not invited. We are hoping to avoid the mistake of Jesus’ disciples who turned away children from the arms of Jesus. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me”, not because children are so sweet and magical, but because Jesus always invites the lowest and most needy into his arms. This is the vision of Word of Life Church. Our children’s ministry will be filled with children from non-Christian, broken homes as well as children from generational Christian families. The unifying factor for such a diverse group is Christ alone. This is His work. Only in Christ can those who seem to have nothing in common be brothers and sisters, closer than friends. We are His family.
