30 Hour Famine Results

We made it! 30 hours without out food. One amazing thing about the 30 Hour Famine is that it gets harder when the goal is in sight. Durning the last 20 minutes we found the challenge infinitely harder than during the day. We were glad to help those who experience this every day. Together our group raised a little over $400, which will go to the fight against hunger in the world.

WOL Youth Ministry focuses on living Christ filled lives. You may have believed in Jesus for your whole life, or you may be a Christian but don’t know anything about your faith, or maybe you have never heard that you need a savior – and you have one in Jesus. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are welcome to join us. More than anything, we don’t want people to pretend about their faith, because pretending isn’t enough. God does not want us to be phony people. God wants us to be genuine people, who really love God and follow His leading. But the only way we can end our phony games is to hear truth and experience change in our fears, our idols, and our beliefs. This is the very thing Christ came to do. He came to change us from misery bound sinners to joy-filled worshipers.
